Just in Thyme for Valentine's Day! Jason has whipped up a scrumptious new cocktail using one of my favorite things: Luxardo Maraschino Cherries.
Make ahead. Hibiscus Infused Vodka:
1 750 ml. bottle of vodka
1/2 c. dried hibiscus flower petals
Mix together in large non-reactive container (not metal) and let steep for two to three hours. Stir a few times. Strain through mesh strainer.
Wet 1/4 rim of martini glass, dip in sugar. Set aside.
1/8 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Cherry liquid from jar.
1/2 oz. Fresh lime juice
2 oz. Cointreau
2 oz. Hibiscus infused vodka
Shake 30 seconds, strain into glass. Garnish with one maraschino cherry and lime rind or mint leaf.
Get ready to fall in love!!!
